At Indulgences Day Spa, we have taken great care in choosing the products we use in our services. Every product we use must first demonstrate that it absolutely, positively does what it says it will do. We “just say no” to products that are tested on animals, contain artificial ingredients, petroleum, massive amounts of preservatives or harsh chemicals. If you have any questions about the products we use, feel free to contact us and we will be happy to provide you with more specific information. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, we would be delighted to perform a patch test for you prior to the use of any product.
For our massage services, we use a massage gel, rather than a lotion or oil. We find gel provides a better “glide” than lotion, but won’t leave you feeling greasy and is non-staining to fabrics. For clients with sensitive skin or allergies, we do use unscented grapeseed oil, the most hypoallergenic medium for the skin.
In addition to our massage gel, our therapists may incorporate other products, such as Biofreeze cryotherapy pain relief gel or W.S. Badger sore muscle rub into your massage. Biofreeze, a topical analgesic, contain ILEX , an herbal extract from a South American holly shrub and does not contain any waxes, oils, aloe or petroleum products. Biofreeze goes on cool, then heats up to provide fast-acting, penetrating, long lasting pain relief. Badger Sore Muscle Rub is a botanical based ointment that contains Lemongrass, Ginger, Cardamom and Cayenne Pepper that warms and loosens muscle tissue. All of the products we use in massage are available for use at home and are for sale in our reception area.

Cirepil waxes are considered some of the finest products for professional waxing. Cirepil waxes are easy to use, sanitary and allow for efficient, economical waxing. The three different waxes used at Indulgences Day Spa allow our estheticians to make a specialized analysis of the hair and skin, which guarantees a more satisfying wax service. These waxes melt at a lower temperature, are less sticky, and contain anti-irritants. Cirepil waxes “shrink wrap” each individual hair for thorough and clean removal without sticking to the skin; this results in less pain and irritation.
A great deal of time, effort and research goes into every body treatment offered at Indulgences Day Spa. We only offer those body treatments that do EXACTLY what they say they are going to do. Our body treatments incorporate a wide range of products from an assortment of reputable manufacturers.
